This fabric selected for the satin pillowcases is a heavy double-weighted Crepe-Back Polyester Satin fabric which was carefully chosen because of its durability, coolness and shiny soft elegance. Unlike a true silk fabric (a dry clean only fabric), our polyester double weighted crepe-back satin is a durable and easy-to-care-for fabric. Satin Creations pillowcases are machine washable and dryer safe. They will not shrink, fade, and are stain and wrinkle resistant.
Cotton fabric by nature absorbs moisture, therefore when you rest your head on a cotton pillowcase, the much needed moisture is absorbed from your hair and skin. Our satin pillowcase allows you to retain more of your own natural (and applied) skin and hair moisture. As a result, your expensive night creams and serums actually stay on your face for better skin penetration rather than being absorbed into your porous cotton pillowcase. Note; the higher the thread count the more absorbent the cotton fabric is against your face and hair.
